HI, I'M DANA
I'M YOUR WEDDING PLANNER
I'm your guide through the wedding planning
process so you can be fully present.
First of all, congratulations! I'm so excited for you as you begin your wedding season! My wedding season was a magical time that I will cherish for the rest of my days. The best part of my wedding season was being able to forget about the wedding details, focus on my husband & be present with our friends & family who were all in one place, at one time – to celebrate us.

This opportunity to be fully present during the wedding season is what I want for all of my couples! And that's where our team comes in. That's our job. I love to serve people and enjoy going the distance to make experiences extra special. It brings me joy to have others trust my team and I with these precious moments in their lives!
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainable Business (environmental science, econ, development, and business hybrid). I have worked in the events industry through various roles since 2010. In the last decade, I have been able to turn vision into reality & realize my true calling – curating unforgettable, sustainable events. More on the sustainable part below.

With my free time, you will find me drinking a London Fog, gardening, exploring the outdoors, being cozy, and spending time with my husband, family, and friends. If I'm not doing one of those things, I may be on my couch eating a pint of Jeni's Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks ice cream while watching the Real Housewives... What can I say? That sounds like a vibe!

I'm grateful that you want to get to know me, and my company. Let's get together and start planning!
HI, I'M TARA
I'M YOUR WEDDING COORDINATOR
Tara is your go-to gal for wedding day management so you and your loved ones can stay in the moment on your wedding day.
Tara began working in the wedding & events industry in 2018 and joined the Thyme & Details team in 2023. She has served as a Planner, Designer, and a Lead Coordinator for our clients. Beginning in 2025, she will serve as the primary Lead Wedding Day Coordinator!
Tara has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Public Relations from Capital University, with quality experience in all things events, marketing, social media, and communication. She's incredibly type-A and all about the details, which makes her the perfect person to jump into the planning process with you.
In her free time, she enjoys playing and coaching volleyball, exploring Columbus Metro Parks with her husband and pup, trying some kind of new workout class, working on a loaf of sourdough bread, playing around with her film camera, and traveling to new cities.
Fun fact: she once climbed the tallest freestanding mountain in the world! Ask her about it sometime ;)
Tara would love to get to know you and work together to plan the wedding of your dreams!

VALUES & FOCUS ON SUSTAINABILITY
Our Values & Beliefs are Firm.

We value integrity.
We believe in inclusivity and equality.
We believe the events industry has room for growth regarding sustainability.
We learn something every day and from every event. We are always looking for opportunities to grow within and that's okay!
We value teamwork – we're here to create your dream vendor team
We are intentional.

What is sustainability to us?

Sustainability has become a buzz word these days. What does it really mean? Well, sustainability has varied meanings for different people and industries. The way we define it is simple: Balancing people, profit ($), and planet – or social, economic, and environmental – matters. We are constantly learning about the other vendors in our community and what they are doing to be more sustainable. We'll weed out all the fluff for you and provide honest, thoughtful suggestions.

How do we operate as a sustainable, eco-conscious business?

Here are some practices we follow day-to-day:
-
100% renewable energy is supplied to our home office.
-
We drive an EV powered by renewable energy – which means we are demanding less fossil fuels to be pumped into the grid.
-
We partner with Green Columbus and Eden Reforestation Project to plant trees to help offset the impact of our events. See tree counter below!
-
With a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainable Business (OSU EEDS), Dana serves as a resource for clients and vendors who wish to be more eco-conscious. We are happy to brainstorm with any vendor on how they can operate more sustainably!
-
We work with Food Rescue US, farms, and composting organizations to divert food waste from our events.
-
We donate leftover florals to seniors, artists, and public spaces to extend the life and legacy of our clients' decor.
-
We encourage reduction of waste, reuse of materials in a luxury yet eco-conscious manner, and recycling/composting any leftovers.
-
We are developing a directory of like-minded, conscious vendors to lift up those in the community who go the extra mile.
